insurance for face painters usa

I am having trouble finding insurance here in the states for the face painting, any suggestions?

Also does anyone out there have any information for insurance in Australia and when in your opinion is insurance required.eg .from the very beginning or would you leave it for a while.Thanks so much in advance.Cheers Fran

Hi Judeii -- If you’re working in the USA, examples of three places that sell face painting insurance are Clowns of America International http://www.coai.org/initforme.htm, The World Clown Association http://www.worldclown.com/ and Specialty Insurance Agency http://www.specialtyinsuranceagency.com ... rance.html

Hi Fran -- In Australia...Definately recommend: http://duckforcover.com.au/ Duck for Cover is an incorporated, non-profit association of performers which makes available cost-effective public liability insurance cover for its members.

I have insurance through the World Clown Association. The only drawback is that it costs $30 if you need an "Additional Insured" document for someplace you're working. I'm not sure how much other companies charge.
