Hi! You know, I really like a lot of the designs you list on here, but I have to say, this one is a little…dull. It is hard for me to write things like this, but I thought someone should say something! Anyway, again, I love your page.

I think your stencils are clever but I really think you should change the name
especially since kids are using and would probably heqr someone referring
to them as “bad ass stencils”

Loved this as a quick solution to an event with high volume. You know, when you really need to get people through the line quickly!!!!

Thanks for the feedback on the name Susan.
I truly appreciate your honest input, and I apologize if you find the name offensive, however at this time Bad Ass Stencils are being sold by the thousands per week in 10 countries on 5 continents – it’s a bit late for a name change.

My body art company is called Bad Ass Body Art, that’s where the name of the stencil line naturally came from. These stencils were originally designed and intended for Professional Makeup Artists and Body Painters, which is primarily an adult oriented market. The fact that face painters, crafters, and graphic artists love them so much is just an added bonus :)

I really don’t see any reason why any child anywhere would ever need to know the brand name of the stencil that was used on their face. How many CHILDREN ask you what brand of glitter you use? Or who makes your paint brushes? Parents may ask on occasion, but kids don’t. And who says you have to tell them? That’s TOP SECRET information, right? A stencil is not a chemical that they need to know ingredient info for, no one is allergic to stencils.

If you use the stencil in a photo that you post to Facebook or your website or blog, you are under no obligation to tag or credit Bad Ass Stencils to the work, so no child will ever see that there. In fact, you never have to mention the name at all! Just remove the stencil from the little bag and throw the package with the label in the garbage – no one will ever know that there was ever a naughty word involved! And even if they happened to hear or see the name somehow, I’m guessing they hear much worse than that on their bus ride to school nowadays (unfortunately).

The fact is, people remember the name, it’s catchy :)
But I thank you again for your comment. I’m sure there are others that feel the same as you do, and I hope my response has eased your concerns.

Cheers,
Andrea
