Our monthly jams are the 2nd Monday of each month. We do balloons and face painting for the guests at Cici’s and share ideas/techniques. The jam officially begins at 7:00pm, but I suggest arriving early and enjoying their buffet (it is free to anyone who does face painting or balloons).

Face Painting Jam – San Diego, California, USA

Fuddruckers in Mira Mesa has graciously agreed to allow the area face painters, clowns, balloon twisters and henna artisits to hold a monthly jam every 2nd Tuesday of the month.

We will be practicing new designs, twisting balloons and working on anything you have wanted to try but not sure how to go about it.

The first jam is Tuesday, March 9th, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. There will be a band there so we can rock out while we paint… ;o) Since we are getting the room free of charge, jam attendees are asked to purchase meals.

There’s also the possibility of having beginner and intermediate classes prior to the jams if enough painters show an interest. There will be a couple of demos and some door prizes for those of you that RSVP, (just reply to this email off-line).

Anabel Rodas of Curly Tops Entertainment will be there with face painting products, Diamond FX, Mehron/Paradise/StarBlends and Glimmer Body Art. We will also have henna and henna supplies.

This 5 Day intensive workshop will cover EVERYTHING about face painting!! No it’s not a real university, but it might as well be since you will be getting so much face paint education while there!! We will go over supplies, line work, blending, girl designs, boy designs, marketing, self promotion, press kits, portfolios, and so much more!

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS WORKSHOP?
This class is aimed towards beginners and those wanting to take their face painting to the next level. Still have trouble doing line work and blending, this class is for you too! If you lack confidence in your face paint skills or designs, this class is also for you! Walk in a beginner, leave a face paint powerhouse!

Ask and we will go over it with you one on one. Whatever problems you have with your techniques or designs, we will teach and show you. Always wanted to learn a certain design – ask and we will show you!

SPOT ON: Not only will you have an instructor at the front of the room showing you demos and techniques, but 2 additional instructors will be walking around at all times giving you one on one of what is being taught!

VENDORS: Pashur’s Assistant and Wow Factor Stuff will be selling your favorite supplies at the workshop.

FOOD: Lunch is included in workshop fee.

AGE: 15 and up
