I love this. It really made me think about what sort of stories you could tell for all my most popular faces. I also liked the use of background music. There are so many pieces of instrumental music that can be universal for a wide range of sories. The nature rain forest music so easily available for fairy stories for example. I definitly learn’t something here and am sure to use this in my painting experiences.

Thank you for sharing that video with us. I saw a live performance from Christoper Agostino at the 2008 FABAIC, but I just loved to see it in a smaller scale, great for a group presentation. He is very enchanting when telling a story, and is really able to draw you in, a talent to be mastered for sure!
You can adapt this principle in so many creative ways, it doesnt have to be scary, it could be mystical and magical, or based on any theme at all.

This video absolutely amasing! I never thought of doing such big eye on the forehead , and that black under the eyebrows , fantastic , Thank you people for your help. I want to buy some rainbow paints but for now my budget is dried up two months without salary imagine I am trying to sell some of my polymer clay jewelry to balance the obligations. But as soon as things get better I will make an order. Thank you for being so generous and helpfull.

I visit this blog quite often and have rarely left feedback…..I did want to comment on the very original idea of story telling while face painting… An excellent tool for keeping little ones occupied while painting !! Of course, the story line needs to be a little (lot) softer and A LOT shorter… but excellent marketing tool idea!! (Loved the T-shirt! – his own designs??)

Help! I have been trying for months to buy Airbrush paint from ABA from Au. Ihave not received any feedback from them or any products either…Does anyone know what is going on with them? I hate to use another product when I am so happy with their paint! I have even call Au. and left a message…

How very cool to see someone entertain a group of young teens while painting this young man’s face! It was awesome to watch the look on this young man’s face when he saw his face painted. it is true,almost everyone likes their face painted.

That was wonderful.
I can think back to past ocassions when it would have been great to include the story telling along with the face painting.
Especially when I have been to a party were there are alot of no shows and you want to fill the time in an interesting way.

This was truly GREAT !. I too like to do story telling and would love to do it with my face painting. It gives me terrific ideas and I plan to try it soon. I will let you know if it works for me. He has lots of talent in both things. Reacently I had the pleasure of working with a story teller, great in expression, voice inflection and it would work with painting too. I really like the story telling with the painting going on at the same time. Would love to do that myself. I do some face painting in a campground near Hampton Beach NH. That could lead to some great story telling

I just watch the Agostino video of the Demon, i was entranced the whole time!!! What a master at storytelling and face painting……i loved it….. Now i’m thinking how can i recreate a short story for the young ones at parties!! I would love to incorporate storytelling with my facepainting as well!!! thanks the inspirational video, I have Agostinos book which is just fabulous with many glossy colored pictures. It is very entertaining and educational as well!!

It was amazing and the story telling was a little spooky together with the painting… I really don’t like scary stuff.. But, I enjoy all arts, they all tell a story … They inspire me in my work… Just something I wouldn’t do but, Its something that interest me and I would watch.. The talent is amazing … really enjoyed it…:D

Great story, have seen better facepainting on your site. I think he could have done more detail in 10 minutes.
