Face painting is a great hobby, stress reliever and profession! I wish you much success.
@ Carol, not sure if you were asking Lori how much she charges because you want to hire her or inquiring how much should someone charge for face painting. But here is my response.
- before I come up with prices I look at the area that the event is taking place.
For example- I recently face painted in an area of New Jersey that was a small farm town. So I charged $3 for cheek are and $4/ half face and $5 for a full face.
That weekend was very prosperous.
Now at the beach in the summer I increase my prices a little and charge. $4/cheek art, $5/half face and $7-10/full face.

All areas and situations vary. Now you will have people that have set prices and won't budge. (and may get the money that they are requesting). Play with your prices and see what works for you.
