Nice video – perfect for quick halloween makeup!
When making your bruises keep in mind a few different things.
1) How did the bruise occur? This should determine the shape of your bruise.
2) How old is the bruise? If you have ever watched your bruise heal you will notice it goes through stages of colors. Red/purple (like shown in the video), blue/green then green/yellow.
When I create bruises I use all four colors layered over top of each other to create depth begining with yellow then green then blue and finally red. I will allow then to blend together then set at the end and depending on the age of the bruise that’s the color that will be used most. It’s far more labor intensive and used for theater and photo work.
