The following is an entry sent in for our monthly Silly Farm Supplies Competition!

“Erin’s Face Painting”
Sent in by Erin E. Wainwright

Hi Philadelphia!

I’m an elementary teacher who has been face painting for around 10 years now. I had always done it as a volunteer in daycares, campgrounds and schools, but this year I decided to try it out as a business.

I can’t begin to explain how much I’m enjoying myself! I’ve always loved transforming little faces into bunnies, monsters and butterflies, but now that I’m face painting more regularly, I’m learning so much! I am taking online workshops, watching videos and learning many new techniques!

I have to say that your website as well as Sillyfarm’s has been inspirational for me, I feel as though I’ve finally found my passion and I am eternally grateful to people such as yourself for all the help you offer online!

 Sincerely,

 Erin E. Wainwright

Hi erin! I too started this year and am loving it, I just need more hours in the day to paint! If you decide to start a website, I just did and learned of a great web host- http://www.homestead.com. I tried godaddy and then hostgator and both are laking in their web builders but homestead is so easy to use and the web builder allows you to do so much! It took about 8hrs to make and it’s less than $5/month. Good luck to you!
