They get huge amounts of money, thousands, for crap work. I showed in a New York gallery a few years ago,had to rent my space, and sold little of nothing for work a hundred times better. As for the body painters, same stuff, different kind of canvas...it's (was) unique, but I was body painting at little old Western Illinois University in 1967. Some are good, some aren't.
