Find Out How to Paint the Perfect Rainbow!

by Philadelphia Tivoli · 22 comments

The “Rainbow” face painting design is really popular, it’s definately a design that you’ll want to have under your belt. And there are a couple different ways of painting this design, but I think that the easiest and quickest way to do it is with a sponge. So watch the video to see exactly how to do it!

I paint hundreds of kids at a any given even and this was absolutely BRILLIANT. I can’t believe I never thought of that. I love that it allows for a consistant width. Fantastic!!

Hiya

If you want to see some more of these videos take a look on You Tube and search for face painting. There are loads, but the best and most informative are by Heather at Silly Farm. I think the rainbow one is one of hers and she has loads more with great tips. Her user name is sillyheatherb, you should be able to search on this and if you subscribe to her videos you will get an email informing you when she puts new ones on.

You should also take a look a the woman painting a dalmation on her own face with acrylic paints – just to show what not to do when facepainting.

Hope this helps someone, have fun.

I am new to face painting and I found these instructional video very informative. I learn best by seeing something done than by just reading on how to do it. These video shorts gave me more ideas to expand my portfolio….
